Terms for merchants
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms cover businesses taking part in the Commerce OS pilot, run by Shafayetul Huda Sadi. By connecting a Facebook Page you agree to them. Questions: shafayet.sadi@gmail.com.
A pilot
Commerce OS is a prototype that is still being built. Features can change or stop working, and we may read drafts and the replies you sent instead in order to improve it. Do not rely on it as your only record of orders.
You decide what is sent
The AI assistant suggests replies; in the pilot nothing is sent to a customer until a person on your team approves it. You are responsible for the messages you send, the prices and stock you enter, and the orders you accept.
Your customers' data
You must have the right to message your customers and to share their messages with us. We handle that data on your behalf as described in the privacy policy, including importing a returning customer's earlier Messenger chat with your Page (up to 90 days, at most 50 messages) when they first write after you connect.
Fair use
- Use the service only for your own legitimate business, within Meta's rules for Pages and Messenger.
- AI replies and voice transcription have daily limits that keep costs in check.
- Do not try to reach other merchants' data or disrupt the service.
Ending
Either side can end the pilot at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or Meta's rules. When you leave, we agree a date so you can keep a copy of your orders, then delete your account's data as the privacy policy describes.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without guarantees, and we are not liable for lost sales or orders caused by it, as far as the law allows.
